はなや北川 について
この建物、柱、梁、階段、天井板、廊下、和室などに使われている木材は、店主の祖父が１９２２年に建てた日本家屋から回収したものです。当時、住居兼「北川製餡所」として使用されていました。
その店主が生まれ育った典型的な日本家屋が取り壊されることとなり、２００１年に日本再生民家リサイクル協会会員の設計によって「はなや北川」としてこの土地に移築再生されました。
和室からお手洗いに向かうまでの短い廊下の横は、小さな庭となっております。灯籠や草木を備えたこのような庭をもつこの建物は、伝統的な日本家屋と言え、店主のこだわりのひとつとも言えます。
私たちは家族の財産でもあるこの建物で皆様をお迎えできることを嬉しく思い、また、目の前に広がる世界文化遺産 春日原生林 の空気を感じ、くつろいでいただければと思っております。

About the construction of this cafe ： Hanaya Kitagawa
The major wooden materials of this house, columns and beams, staircase, the ceiling, the wooden corridor, the tatami room, etc. were salvaged from an old Japanese style house built in 1922 by Grand Pa of the owner/keeper of this restaurant. The old house, the then typical Japanese style residence and factory, where he was born and brought up, was carefully taken down in 2001, and was reconstructed in this place under the supervision of an architect who was a prominent member of a special group of building designers dedicated to the preservation of traditional Japanese house.
From the “Tatami mattress room” to the toilet, you can walk a short distance of the wooden corridor, watching the small square garden. With a stone lantern and some evergreens, here is a standard example of a living quarter of an old Japanese house.
We are rather proud of showing this construction which is a small edition of our family heritage, and wish that our guests can enjoy this atmosphere along with the view of the Kasuga Shrine World Cultural Heritage areas that are located across the street.

店内には足踏みオルガン、ミシン、階段ダンスをはじめ、店主の古いコレクションであふれています。
時間のあるときは、蓄音機でレコードを聞くときもあり、こだわりを話し始めると止まらない店主です。
また、お客様を店主ご自慢、1944年製のフルオープンジープで送迎させていただくこともございます。
悪天候、日曜祝祭日の停滞時、故障や店の極忙状態で運行を見合わせますが、３名様まで最寄り駅まで店主の案内付きで送迎させていただきます。
